Hold Qi Up Stockholm [2023-02-04]

This year’s first basic course in Hold Qi Up gathered both a number of people who took the course for the first time and several repeaters. Together we had an intense and strong weekend in our new nice training place in Mälarhöjden. Some of the repeating participants had not taken courses for years, partly because of our long pandemic break. They expressed great gratitude for the help they had received in correcting their movements.

Below follows an excerpt of feedback from the participants:

Relaxation

“I thought it was great to train in a group and get support and more qi. It’s like different layers of the body open up and relax. My focus on this course has been precisely on the relaxation of specific places.”

A gift

“It was a gift to come here, like coming home. I feel like I’ve confronted imbalances.”

Interesting, educational and fun

“It was very interesting, educational and fun. I have health issues due to stress and were recommended to practice Qigong. I got very good corrections. “

Softer in the body

“This was great. I feel a little softer in my body.”

Stress and trauma

“Great course, surprisingly good. A bit of a summer course feeling. It was very nice to have nice conversations. Daily exercise gives effect. I have stress and trauma and feel like this is helping, I’ve gotten stronger.”

Mental bit

“I thought it was a very calm and nice course, good atmosphere. It’s happened things with my circulation this course. My hands have been warm most of the time – nice. I started exercising because of pains in my body. In the beginning I sat and trained but it has gradually got better and now I can stand long sessions. The mental part is also very important. Qigong have become a tool to dare to look more positively at the future.”
