We are excited to finally share some news about the Winter Course 2027!
Seven Days for Everyone
Starting next year, the Winter Course will be seven days long for all participants! The course will begin with dinner and a lecture on Saturday, February 20, and end at approximately 4 PM on Saturday, February 27, as usual during week 8.
We will practice Shenxin Qigong, and although we will no longer start with a beginners’ course, everyone is welcome to participate, including complete beginners. The previous training day dedicated to Xing Shen Zhuang will be replaced by a two-day training weekend later in the spring.
New Location
We are also delighted to announce our new course location! The Winter Course 2027 will take place at Glimåkra Folk High School in northern Skåne, Sweden.
We have explored many different options to find the folk high school that best meets our needs. We have received a very warm welcome at Glimåkra and are confident that we will have a wonderful time there! The school has a large and beautiful training hall. They will prepare delicious meals for us, and we will have comfortable sleeping arrangements! It is also easy to get there by train from Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö.
Most of us will sleep on mattresses on the floor, just as we have done at previous Summer Courses. (We will bring our own mattresses, which are thick enough for adults to sleep comfortably on.) The dormitories are also located close to the training hall, with easy access to showers. There are a limited number of single and double rooms available for participants who need them most, but shared dormitory accommodation will be the standard option.
Everything else will be as before! There will be plenty of Qigong practice in a strong qi-field, wonderful opportunities to connect with others, and lots of laughter!
Registration will open soon on our website. Register as soon as possible if you want to attend. We hope to welcome many participants to this year’s Winter Course, especially with our new format and location!
