The training course in Xing Shen Zhuang is a very popular course. It contains a lot of training, with plenty of time for corrections, which improves the quality of our training to give us even better results. Several participants felt that their motivation and understanding of the exercise had increased which would facilitate their ongoing training at home. The course in Stockholm had several participants from a long way away. It is always much appreciated that we can meet with qigong friends from other Nordic countries.
Improved in the back and the neck
“Thank you for a nice course. Good corrections for the hips. It feels like something released in my hip and I am happy about that. Yesterday we had dinner with friends after the course, and I found that I could sit for much longer than I usually can before my back starts hurting. It felt really nice to have more endurance in my back. Something released in my neck also when I practised at home in the evening.”
Straighter back
“During this course, I have reached further down when bending the knees. I scratched my back a couple of weeks ago and realized that it was very flat back there. Ever since I was 15-16 years old, I have had a couple of vertebrae pointing outwards. People have often pointed this out and asked if I suffer from it but I did not think I did. I have had it during my adult life too and since I have practised qigong, but a couple of weeks ago, it had gone. I have tried to find it again but I couldn’t. I do not know when it disappeared but it is not there now. My spine has changed. Thank you for a nice course.”
Lovely and peaceful
“It has been a very good course. For the first time I feel peaceful and able to minimize my thoughts and to focus on the training. It was lovely. And it is fun to meet everyone and practise together. My hip hurts all the time and I know it is working there. I have had difficulty keeping my balance since I started practising, but now my posture is starting to straighten out. I feel that I get more control when bending and swinging forward and backward. I did not have that control before.”
Powerful training
“It has been a very good course. It so good to practise so much. One feels how extremely powerful the exercise is.”
Manage the training despite fatigue syndrome
“I have been on sick-leave for fatigue syndrome since January. Now I’m working 25 percent but after working for two hours I’m exhausted, so I was uncertain whether I would manage this course. But it went wonderfully. Yesterday I felt very alert. It is so calm and quiet at the course. It is nice to practise without music.”
Nice long training sessions
“It has been fun with all the friends who show up. This weekend has been magical, both the corrections and the long training sessions. Something is happening in my spine. It is the first time I have felt something there.”
Good to practise several times over a shorter period of time
“It has been nice to get the opportunity to practise the exercise so many times. It is rare to do it so many times over such a short time. It is good motivation so that the challenge at home does not feel so great.”
