Even though the weather was great the basic course in shenxin qigong was well visited. Many of the students had attended the winter course and practiced the exercise for a longer time. No matter how long time we’ve practiced there are always more to learn and to improve. Several of the students said that they could relax quickly and that they appreciated to improve the movements.
Below follows some comments from the participants.
No migraines
I came here yesterday with visual abnormalities and I was waiting for a severe migraine attack but I didn’t take any pills. I came here instead. I immediately felt better, the visual abnormalities disappeared. I didn’t get any headache. Or I got a little headache but not migraine. It must have been qi that took the migraine away. Today I felt very good. I’ve learned a lot of new things even though I’ve practiced for a long time.
Better eye movements
I’ve practiced quite long time but still I get to hear new details that I don’t think I’ve ever heard. This course I improved my eye movements and then I could feel how the circulation improved. I’ve never felt like that before. It’s been nice to be here.
Alert and calm
This is the first time I join this course. I have joined a lot of other qigong before. It has been very nice for me to be here. I’m having a tired period right now, haven’t been able to sleep well for a while due to a lot of small children at home. During these two days I have felt very alert and calm. A lot of tension in my body has disappeared. I’m very grateful.

Keeping healthy
For me qigong is something I do to keep myself healthy. It’s interesting to understand how qigong has helped me, what my life would have been like without qigong. Improvements might be hard to notice form a single course but looking back on a longer period of time it’s easier to see what has happened. Things are happening in my body and mind right now.
Understands more and more
When I talk to people about qigong I keep telling them about all the things that happens in my body. Things happen all the time. It’s so interesting. I understand more and more how different things influence each other. I was at the winter course and a lot of things happened. A lot of things happened at this course as well.
Can handle difficult things
I’m very grateful for qigong. I have a tough time right now and without qigong I don’t know how I would have managed but with qigong I can handle it quite well. Qigong is a gift.
The coughing stopped
I’ve had a break from qigong but still the movements were there. It’s like a miracle, but yesterday I was coughing a lot but suddenly it stopped. Today I almost haven’t coughed at all.
Big improvement after correction
I had a very nice correction on the sideways bending exercise. It changed quite a bit. It’s fun to notice that we all the time can improve things tremendously much. It’s not that important to learn new exercises, we can just develop what we already learned.
Getting good effects again
I’m very happy that I joined a weekend course again. It’s been three years now since I joined the winter course, and I think that shenxin qigong have given me some really good effects. During the latest six months or so I haven’t been able to get that effect, and I understand that now. I really needed to correct my movements and be in the qifield. I’ve taken it in now and I’m looking forward to move on with the things that I have learned here today.
