An even better 2012
A warm thanks you to everyone who joined us during the past year. We wish all our fellow students a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Hopefully we will in 2012 get even better effects out of Zhineng qigong. Here are some thoughts and tips that you should keep in mind in order to achieve it.
All of our exercises are different and no exercise can fully replace the other. They have different functions and each exercise we teach has something to provide us. Even those who have learned step 2 also need to practice Hold Qi Up and Shenxin qigong.
The Qi-field is the Zhineng Qigong school’s main feature and is essential for faster and better results. The strength of a Qi-field is something that one builds up over time. Together we have built up our since 1993 and it gets stronger every year that passes. It contains a multitude of useful information. Our Qi-field and the atmosphere it creates, has contributed greatly to all the health improvements that so many have achieved by training with us.

Cooperation with Åbo Akademi University
As a part of their workplace health promotion programme, Åbo Akademi University has decided to subsidize participation in our courses for their employees. Åbo Akademi University offers higher level education to the Swedish speaking minority in Finland. They employ some 1300 staff in Turku and Vasa.
The offer is valid not only for our courses in Turku (Oct 29-30) and Vasa (Nov 5-6), but also for all our other basic courses in Finland. Check our course programme for an overview of all the courses this autumn. Employees of Åbo Akademi University can find more information on Åbo Akademi’s workplace health promotion programme home page.
European Zhineng Qigong Center has arranged courses in Finland for over a decade. We have active practice groups in 10 Finnish cities, two of which are Turku and Vasa. Åbo Akademi University will also support this activity by offering the group in Turku a place to practise on their premises.
Lecture with Su Dongyue at the museum of far eastern antiquities
On Sunday, September 11, it’s the special day “Skeppsholmsdagen”. It’s a day full of different activities at Skeppsholmen in Stockholm. If you come to the museum of far eastern antiquities you can try Zhineng Qigong. But not the least you can listen to a lecture given by our main teacher Su Dongyue. That’s the only lecture in Stockholm that is planned for this semester.
The lecture is free of charge and takes place in the library at the museum of far eastern antiquities, at 13.30-15.30. Welcome!
Eveningtraining Xing Shen Zhuang
This summer we introduced Xing Shen Zhuang, the second step and the very core of the dynamic methods in Zhineng Qigong. The method is more demanding than and differs from what we have learned before – even though some of the exercises are familiar. Our students found it both exciting and challenging to pracise. We have now begun Xing Shen Zhuang group practice in Gothenburg on Mondays and in Stockholm on Wednesdays.
A prerequisite for participation is Summer Course Step 2, 2011. For time and place, see our practice groups.
More about Xing Shen Zhuang – the second step of Zhineng Qigong
As earlier reported, in Summer Course two this summer we will, for the first time, teach Xing Shen Zhuang – the second step in Zhineng Qigong. For those who have attended Xing Shen Zhuang we will arrange a practice weekend in Stockholm this autumn. We will also add an extra day of practice to the four-day course in Gothenburg on the Epiphany holiday of 2012. This extra day will be open only to those who have learned Xing Shen Zhuang this summer.
We might also arrange evening practice groups in Gothenburg and Stockholm for the second step.
Everybody who attends Summer Courses one this summer on June 27 to July 6, may also participate in Summer Course two on July 6-15, regardless of what courses they have attended earlier.
