Hold Qi Up Redgrave, Norfolk [2023-09-30]

We had a great course together in a nice hall in Redgrave, Norfolk. People were happy to be able to get together and practice again. 

“It was a wonderful weekend and just what I needed. Then I slept well Sunday night and I awoke a new person on Monday morning – bounding with energy!!” Written of one of the participants the day after the course.

Practice regularly

“I needed to refresh my practice. The course has been fantastic, really beneficial. I am going to practice regularly. One should take responsibility for one’s own body. I’m very pleased to come back.”  

Migraine, anxiety and depression all gone

“I came to my first course 17 years ago. I’ve also been to summer course which has taken my practice to a whole new level. When I first went to summer course I used the diagram of the figure with all the acupressure points to put in little arrows and statements of all the things I wanted to fix. There were a lot: aches and pains, arthritis, migraine, depression, anxiety, being late…. Etc. Now a small bit of arthritis might come and go and I’m still late sometimes but otherwise its nearly all gone. I trust Qigong.”  

It flowed and felt easy

“I have been involved in all sorts of holistic things over the years including a different kind of Qigong to this one. My friend said to come and I was a bit uncertain. I thought I wouldn’t be able to remember all the movements – but I did! I enjoyed this weekend – it flowed and felt easy. I’m converted!” 

Help to slow down

“I’ve always been interested in energy and in healing. I’ve never been into a practice but I like this one – it will slow me down. It will be good for me. I’m looking forward to what the practice will do.”  

Brilliant for aging bodies

Grateful

“I am grateful to have been here. I didn’t think I could do it because of my dodgy knee but I have managed very well. It’s been interesting to experience it and lovely being part of the group.”

More relaxed

“It’s been a lovely weekend – because of all of you (the group). It has come for me at a good time. I have a lot of stress with elderly parents and all their ailments. I’ve done meditation in the past but didn’t find it easy. This has relaxed bits of me that I haven’t relaxed for a long time. Thank you for the teaching.”

“I know this is really my thing and I love being with you all.”

Tension in the neck disappeared

“This weekend I have had tension in my neck and I thought Qigong will fix it and it has. Qigong helped me hugely when my husband was ill. Now I do Qigong and it gets me back to sleep if I’m in pain.”

Sleep better 

“During my first weekend course I was half way through the first day and I thought – this is what I’ve been looking for. It has helped me recover from the operation for my knee replacement and I sleep better if I practice before bed.” 

Improved shoulder 

“It has been lovely to be part of the group this weekend. Thank you so much for the teaching. This weekend has given me a whole layer of meaning. I’ve been practising for about a year and my shoulder, which was very badly damaged, has improved – other things too.”
