Hold Qi Up Huntingfield [2018-10-20]

The course was once again held in the little village of Huntingfield. It was a lovely group of people
learning as a beginner or refining the exercise if Hold Qi Up and La Qi.
More understanding about qigong and the benefits of it.

“This is my third workshop and I have very much enjoyed the weekend. I know it is time for me to do
more Qigong – I will reap the benefits. I find 7am and 5pm good times to practice. When I began I
felt ‘this is boring’, but not now. This has been a lovely group and good Qi!”

Qi field

“This is my 4 th weekend of Hold Qi Up. I know how to do it, but I learn a bit more every time. I
enjoyed all of it this time. Each time you hear things that you missed the last time. Now my whole
family and my boyfriend practice Qigong. We will have a big Qi field this Christmas!”

I couldn’t wait for the second one! I had found what I was looking for. Coming back to weekend
workshops is essential. This weekend there has been the strongest Qi I have ever felt, apart from

Helps stabilise ME

“I have been practicing 10 years. I always want to come to courses nowadays. I have ME and Qigong
has helped me to stabilise my condition. This weekend the Qi has been amazing. I may need to
practice twice a day from now on. “

“This has been so good. I marvel because Qigong is so efficient! It practices the body and the mind. It
is my health insurance as I grow older. The secret is to practice every day.”

I feel very well

“This is my second weekend and I have done 2 summer courses and the winter course. There is
always something to learn and it is worth coming to weekends to recommit. I live a long way away
and don’t have a group. I haven’t been disciplined but the weekend will get me back on track. I feel
very well, after having heart problems and cancer and I feel sure that Qigong contributes to that.”

My well-being has improved

“I have enjoyed the weekend. I have done 2 x 18 day summer courses and that has taken my
practice to a whole new level. I have lots of niggles – arthritis in my knees and hands – that comes
and goes. My well-being has improved. I am never in any doubt about the value of coming to
courses. Corrections are valuable. I recommend it highly to increase a sense of wellbeing. You can
trust it.”

I felt very welcome

“Thank you for the welcome. I have done a lot of workshops and have never been nervous before,
but I was this time – I think I knew it would be something different. I like the emphasis on the Qi and
on relaxation. I don’t know yet where I will go with this. I think body meditation is easier and safer
than just using the mind. “
