Hold Qi up Hamar [2012-01-28]

One week prior to the course, we had an article in the local newspaper “Østlendingen”. It focused on Zhineng Qigong as an effectve way to take care of ones health and to deal with problems, using serious back pain as an example. We got alot of attention and several beginners signed up for the course. The course was both smooth and powerful, and the participants stories tells of rather good results.

More energy and less neck pain

The first thing I noticed was that I got more energy after the lecture during friday night. When I got home after the lecture, I was able to do things, like taking care of the laundry. I usually have pain in my neck, and I still had on Saturday, but today, on Sunday, my neck feels better. I also feel my pelvis is improving. I have more energy after the training, and I will join the weekly evening trainings in Hamar.

Warmer body

I also have some pains in my body, especially my neck. It feels better now though. Also, ever since I was a child, one side of my body is colder than the other. This half is simply not getting warm, but some of the exercises we have been doing, has made me feel warm. I will also join he evening trainings.

Got rid of my terrible headache

I have been suffering from Cluster headache, also known as suicide headache, for 3-4 years now. The pain is overwhelming when the attacks strike. I can do nothing during the attacs, and I need a couple of hours to recuperate after them. During one attack, the doctors gave me so much Morphine that my kidneys malfunctioned. It caused me to a severe tremble, but the pain did not let go. During theese years, I have only had one brief period without pains, and that was last summer, 7-8 months ago. Aside from that, I usually experience 3-9 attacks per day. Saturday, the first day we practised qigong, I had no pain, today, on Sunday at 1530 I still haven’t suffered from any pain. You can not imagine how pleased I am. I want to join the trainings together with my wife. I want a life without pains!

Update: During the first week after the course I just had one pain attack that was significantly milder than usual. Amazing!

Less rigid pelvis and less pains

I have during a longer period had much pains in my pelvis. On my right side, I’ve had no flexibility at all. Of course I noticed my problems yesterday, when we practised, but when I went home after the training it was much better. I am also tense with pains in my neck and shoulder, but today it feels better. Today it hurts less, and I feel more flexible first and foremost in my pelvis.

Less pains in the shoulder

When I came to the course, I had quite a lot of pains in my left shoulder. It is much better now, and my neck feels lighter. It also feels like I am able to stand in a better way.
