On this term’s first course in Bergen about half of the group learned Hold Qi Up for the first time. The new participants did the movements well. In the circle talk after the course many participants shared the good health results they have achieved with their practice.
Broken ribs healed quickly
”I’ve practiced for four years and I’ve got incredibly good results. When I started I had a worn out knee and I struggled with positional vertigo. After my first summer course I went home without knee pain and now I have control over the positional vertigo. Before, I had problems with irritable bowels; this has also stabilized. This summer I fell and broke several ribs one week before the summer course. I went to the course anyway and six weeks after my accident I was completely well!”
Better eyesight
”I’ve participated on a Weituo Jin course and I’ve practiced every morning. I have several diagnoses, including Sjögren’s syndrome; subcutaneous function of the thyroid gland and joint pains. My eyesight had begun to get worse – now my eyesight is much better. Also I now can manage to bend down 50 centimeter lower than when I started to practice. Tonight I slept the entire night without pain killers and I woke up naturally!”
Pain relief
”I’ve practiced for almost three years and qigong has become an important part of my life. The practice has given me good pain relief and I was mostly without pain for a whole year. I had a tough spring because of treatments but after a couple of days on the summer course I was mentally in an entirely different place and I could feel joy. The practice gives me energy and replenishment in every way.”
