As usual the first course of the year in Gothenburg was well attended. “The best way to start the new year” is a recurring comment from repeating participents. More and more participants describes how the training has helped them to become permanently healthier, calmer and happier. Also many among the 20 new participants rejoiced that the results can come so fast. As usual it is hard to choose some of the many good experiences the participants shared but here are a few comments:

The biggest gain – a nicer person

When I started with qigong ten years ago I thought it was so slow. But I got results at once so I continued to practice. Nowadays I appreciate the slowness more and more and I enjoy the training a lot. Over the years I’ve got many physical results, for example I’ve had very few colds. I could skip operations of my knee and wrist. My stomach is much better. Well, I’ve got many good results but the biggest gain is that I’ve become so much calmer. I’ve become a nicer person.

Less negative thoughts

“I’ve practiced for 4,5 years. I was full of negative thoughts before. Now I feel free from them. So I’m very grateful to Qigong.”

One year of back pain – now it’s gone

“This is my first course. I came here because I’ve had a back pain for one year. Now I have no back pain at all. I usually have back pain this time of the day.”

Lower blood pressure, stronger back and neck

“I started to practice last spring because of high blood pressure. I continued to practice and my blood pressure went down. Among other effects my neck and back has got much better, much stronger. I discovered that I can sit without a backrest, whick I’ve never been able to do before. This course I felt very good; my feet didn’t hurt this time.”

“This course has had a good effect on my sciatica. I feel less of it now.
