Tormod is interested in the philosophies of Zhineng Qigong

When I attended my first weekend course I knew nothing about Qigong. But soon I got a felling of Qi and that made me more curios. To continue to practice was not a logical decision, it was rather based on a feeling that the training was good. My health was rather ok. I didn’t have any special disease to fight against.

I took more courses and I noticed that after the courses I slept less but still I wasn’t tired waking up. This made me even more motivated.

Results gradually

Many results come gradually. Sometimes it can be difficult to say what result I have got from the training. Even though I didn’t have any special problems, I soon realised that my body was quite stiff and that my ability to concentrate was not very good. My self confidence was not very high but it is much better now thanks to the training. I also had some pain in my neck and back but the pain disappears if I practice regularly. If I don’t practice it comes back. Last summer course my hands also got much softer.

Ability to concentrate

My ability to concentrate is much better now. I’m a student and I’ve noticed that my concentration is much better than many other students’. It has always been easy for me to study but the training has made me see connections even better and I can understand how things comes together, which has made my grades even better. I did have some problems writing essays but that also works better now.

At times I practice Qigong quite much and those days are really good. I’m calmer, I don’t easily get irritated and instead of worrying I handle things as they come. I’m more relaxed, not that stressed up.

Philosophy

By practicing Qigong my way of thinking has changed and the philosophy of Zhineng Qigong has become more and more interesting. I don’t put the same value in material things as before. My way of living is simpler and I feel that I’m more conscious. Practicing has made it easier for me to understand other people and why they act in different ways.

It’s easy to believe that you are the way you are and that’s how it’s going to be forever. But by practicing Zhineng Qigong you have the possibility to change and to further improve yourself. That is exciting!
