Shenxin Qigong Pargas [2004-09-25]

Five years ago we gave our first weekend course in Hold Qi Up in Turku, close to Pargas. Now it was time for the first Shenxin Qigong course in Finland and this time the course was given in Pargas.

The participants were very interested and many of them said that they felt invigorated and happier after the course. In both Pargas and Turku there will be training groups in Shenxin Qigong starting up during the coming week.

Comments from the participants

“I have been practicing Qigong for a while and my blood pressure has improved and I can tolerate stress better. Even though I’ve been practicing for a while, I still usually stand with one foot slightly in front of the other, probably because my body is not completely straight, but now my feet automatically place themselves beside each other.”

“Lately I’ve had burning and cramping in my neck. Today my neck doesn’t feel as irritated any more.”

“I have problems with Diastasis Symphysis Pubis, which results in pain in the lower back and legs. When I came to the course I could not sit properly, I had to change my sitting position all the time. After the first hour of the course I could sit and stand properly. Yesterday evening I had no pain at all. I usually sleep in a certain position and have to lay very still or it will hurt. Last night I could sleep with both legs straight and also move around in bed. It felt good.”

“Since I have some problems with my neck and back, I usually have to visit a chiropractor every second month. Now it’s slightly past the time when I should have had a treatment, something I could feel in my neck. I even had a headache, something which is not very common for me. In the beginning of the course my neck snapped and the headache disappeared!”

“Some of my cervical vertebrae have grown together and put pressure on a nerve. This results in pain in the neck and numbness all the way down in my fingertips. Now my neck feels completely well, I can’t feel any pain or numbness in my neck or fingers.”
