In cooperation with Ljungby Lasarett Hospital we have given basic courses in Hold Qi Up for several years. Predominantly stress patients have been recommended Qigong training. This fall’s course was given on October 9-10 and over 25 people participated, half of which were beginners. Many of the returning participants now talk about their lives “before and after Zhineng Qigong”, a fact that is evident in the excerpts of the participants’ own reports below.
All those who participate in the course also have the opportunity to participate in the group training sessions, every Monday night at the hospital.
The participants’ own accounts
“I’m on disability pension and have long searched for a method that suits me. I’ve tested many different methods. I work four hours a day and normally when I get home I’m very tired, and have no energy for anything else. When I got home from the course on Saturday I felt energetic.”
“I had a blood clot in the leg and I’m suffering from circulatory problems. Now, during the course my leg feels good, it seems like the training has got the circulation started.”
“I’m afraid of the dark and usually sleep with the light on. I wake up several times every night and look at the clock. Last night, after the first day of the course, I slept the whole night through without waking up and later I realized that I had forgotten to turn on the light. This morning I felt really alert, usually I’m tired and my body feels stiff when I wake up.”
“There is a before and after Zhineng Qigong. I’ve practiced eagerly and feel joy of life in a way I didn’t before I started practicing Zhineng Qigong.”
“I’m more relaxed, find it easier to sleep, feel calmer and can sort my thoughts out. I have better self control now.”
“I twisted a toe a few years ago and it never healed properly. I haven’t been able to bend the toe. During this course I’ve started to feel my toe again and now I can bend it.”
“I suffered from tinnitus but after one weekend course the noise in my ear disappeared. I practice eagerly.”
“Practicing Qigong has helped me a lot in recovering from my burnout”.
