Hold Qi up Turku [2006-02-04]

The Åbo course was kept in the Cathedral School with almost 40 participants, a mix of beginners and more advanced practitioners.

The enthusiasm was great; sometimes it was even difficult to make everybody break for rest.

At the end of the course most participants had many positive words to say about the course and the arrangements around the course and many of them told us about good training results.

Here are some of their comments:

" I participated in my first course in May 2005. I have had problems in my back but it gets better all the time when I practice Qigong."

" 1996 my elbow was crushed in an accident. Doctors put a metal strip in my arm, but they told me that I would always have pain afterwards. After my first course pain reduced and after some time I felt no pain at all. Some time ago, I fell again on my injured arm. Something cracked, but I did not care to visit a doctor. I practiced more to counteract pain and now I have almost no pain left. Besides, my arm is straighter now."

" I had a lot of pain in my back and tried to find all help I could get. That why I joined qigong even if I was sceptical. Since then I have practiced every day and my back has become much, much better. Qigong is a tool that I can't live without. If I have pain, I feel much better when I practice. Qigong is a part of my life."

" I have practiced for five years. When I started to practice I suffered from the meniscus in my knee and doctors said that they would like to operate. But after practicing, there is no need for an operation. It feels ok anyway. "

" If think my way to handle stress situations at work has improved. I can take one thing at a time, instead of everything at the same time like before."
