Relaxation is a simple method that teaches you how to relax your body and mind. Relaxing physically and mentally is an important step in preparing for the training, but also to be able to relax in daily life. In a tense body the circulation is affected in a negative way, which can lead to various health problems.

La Qi

La Qi is an easy and effective method to get qi fast. The exercise is easy to learn and to do. Practising La Qi can be done for a short or a long time depending on your own preference, either in a sitting or a standing position. The exercise enables us to get a feeling of qi fast and can be a foundation for using and understanding qi in the future. La Qi is taught at basic Hold Qi Up courses as well as the summer course.

Hold Qi Up

Hold Qi Up is a dynamic method. This exercise aims to develop your abilities and wisdom and can quickly give you more qi. By practising Hold Qi Up, many people have improved their health and even completely recovered. In our different projects in Sweden, we have mainly used this exercise. Hold Qi Up is taught in basic courses as well as summer course 1.

Shenxin Qigong

Shenxin Qigong is a dynamic method developed by Su Dongyue and taught only by European Zhineng Qigong. It trains the body a little more and harder compared with Hold Qi Up. The method makes qi go deeper and can relax your body faster. It can be seen as a continuation of or a complement to Hold Qi Up and we recommend this method if you have practised Hold Qi Up for a few years. Shenxin Qigong is taught in special weekend courses and is the main exercise in the winter course.

Three Center Merge Standing Posture

Three Center Merge is a standing posture, a static method. It stimulates your qi and makes you and your qi grow stronger fast. The method also trains your mind and will. If you want to take further steps in Zhineng Qigong after Hold Qi Up and Shenxin Qigong this method is very valuable. It is taught in the winter course.

Dun Qiang

Dun Qiang is an exercise to relax the waist quickly, which is very important in qigong. Relaxing the waist is essential in order for the rest of the body to relax. In western societies, many have a tense and stiff waist area, something which affects our health in a negative way.

Dun Qiang is a physical exercise that also trains the mind. It can make us calmer. The exercise can be of great help for people who have many distracting thoughts and/or difficulties concentrating. The exercise is taught in summer course 1.

Xing Shen Zhuang

Xing Shen Zhuang is the main method in the Zhineng Qigong school’s second step. It is a dynamic method that can open your meridians quickly and makes the qi go deeper. It trains and relaxes the body. This method takes a bit longer to practise and is a little more demanding. Having practised Hold Qi Up and Three Center Merge standing posture for some time will help when you start practising this exercise. You should also have practised Shenxin Qigong. We usually recommend that you practise step 1 for some time before you start practising Xing Shen Zhuang. This exercise is taught in summer course 2.

Wuyuan Zhuang

Wuyuan Zhuang is the third step of Zhineng Qigong. It emphasises training of the internal organs and the mind. You can get a high ability to master the body and the mind. We do not yet teach this method.

TuiNa

TuiNa is a general term for various methods of treatment within the Chinese healing arts. We teach acupoint TuiNa, which is based on the treatment of acupoints in order to improve health. It builds among other things on the philosophy of Yin and Yang. Bodyworkers can gain great benefits from using the method in their profession. Others can use the method for helping themselves, their families and friends. For people interested in qigong, the method can be a way of improving the knowledge and understanding of meridians and qi. TuiNa is taught in a two-day course. You can find more info here.

Weituo Jin

Weituo Jin is a dynamic traditional qigong method, which does not belong to the Zhineng Qigong school, but can be combined with our methods. It can help you relax your body and at the same time improve your physical strength. Weituo Jin is used in the Shaolin school as a basic training method and it is recommended by Chinese universities for students in traditional Chinese medicine. Bodyworkers and therapists can improve their power and get better effect in their treatments by practising Weituo Jin. If you want to learn acupoint TuiNa, Weituo Jin is a prerequisite. Xiao Gongfa

Xiao Gongfa is a collection of traditional methods that can help you to stay healthy. They are very simple and don’t take long to practise. If you often work sitting down or often watch a screen or TV, this method will give you significant help with problems that are common in sedentary work. We learn exercises that are especially adapted for specific problem areas, such as eyes, neck and back. Xiao Gongfa is taught in a course with the same name.
