There were a lot of participants, two of which drove more than 100 km every day to join the course. They got a lot of help to learn the movements from the more experienced \u201cqigongers\u201d, who have the habit of repeating Hold Qi Up for the luxury of calmly practising together for a whole week-end. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/vasa2018mars.jpg\" alt=\"Hold Qi Up Vasa 2018\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Some comments from the participants:<\/p>\n<h3>Knee improved<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cI have enjoyed the course and I\u00b4ve been feeling well practising this much. Some years ago, I had an issue with one of my knees but after starting to practise qigong, it has disappeared.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Comfort in qigong<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cI started practicing in 2005 because of my irritable stomach. Directly, after the first movements, I felt a positive effect from the method and I no longer have any issues with my stomach. My lactose intolerance is gone also. The last few years, I\u00b4ve been dealing with fatigue syndrome and I take a lot of comfort in knowing that the qigong practice helps me.\u201c<\/p>\n<h3>Relaxing movements<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cI have been interested in eastern methods for the health and I find the movements relaxing.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Qigong helps towards fatigue syndrome<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cI attended my first course in 2011 when I was recovering from fatigue syndrome. Unfortunately, I had a two-year break from practising and my symptoms came back. Since 2015 I have been practising regularly and I feel fine.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Chronic pain in elbow<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cWhen I started practising I had chronic pain in my elbow and I was taking a lot of medication. I was very stiff in the beginning and I barely dare to imagine in what shape I would have been if I had not started training qigong.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Handle stress better<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cWhen I started practising I had reoccurring migraines and I was very stressed at my work. Nowadays, I no longer need my strong medicine towards migraine and I have learnt to handle the stressful environment at work. I don\u00b4t get angry anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Want to give the method a chance<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cI got to this course without any expectation I have felt fine. I think I will practise at home.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Interested in finding a suiting method<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cI found this course at the website when I was searching the internet for a method that could help to handle stress and mental exhaustion. I was planning on going to Sweden to attend a course but then to my delight, I saw that there was a course organized in Vasa. I am happy with the course and the Hold Qi Up method and I will try to continue practising at home.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Stronger both physically and mentally<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cI started practising in 2012 and I had problems with a ligament and a lot of stress.
